SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Frank A. Bauer of Chicago, who passed
away on November 25, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Frank Bauer was born on February 25, 1938; he was
a graduate of St. George High School in Evanston; and
WHEREAS, Frank Bauer was a devoted teacher and football
coach for 45 years; he worked at Weber High School in Chicago
for 35; he also worked at St. Gregory the Great High School,
Immaculate Conception, and for his beloved St. George High
School; he served at St. Patrick High School for 35 years; and
WHEREAS, Frank Bauer was the beloved husband of 49 years of
Sharon (nee Kinnally); the loving father of Michael, John,
Patrick (Ellen), Daniel, and Kathy (Joe) Rosenau; the cherished
grandfather of Sebrina, Elizabeth, Maxine, Patrick, John,
Faith, Emily, Joey, and Jacob; the dear brother of the late
John; the fond uncle of many; and friend to many, including
several lifelong friends; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Frank A. Bauer, and extend our sincere condolences to his

family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Frank Bauer as an expression of our
deepest sympathy.
