| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Eugene C. Andrus of Rock Island, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on March 18, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Eugene Andrus was born on November 12, 1936 in | ||||||
| 6 | Cresco; his parents were Glenn and Mary Reynolds Andrus; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Eugene Andrus was a veteran of the United States | ||||||
| 8 | Army; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Eugene Andrus worked as a truck driver for Midwest | ||||||
| 10 | Carrier Transport for more than 30 years until his retirement | ||||||
| 11 | in 2005; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Eugene Andrus was a member of the Watch Hill | ||||||
| 13 | Towers Social Club and the International Brotherhood of | ||||||
| 14 | Teamsters; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Eugene Andrus is survived by his sons, Robert | ||||||
| 16 | Andrus, Richard Andrus, Eugene T. Andrus, Raymond Andrus, and | ||||||
| 17 | Wayne Andrus; his 26 grandchildren; his 14 | ||||||
| 18 | great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Henry Andrus, Gerry | ||||||
| 19 | Andrus, and LaVonne Roethler; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Eugene C. Andrus; and | ||||||
| 4 | be it further

| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Eugene Andrus as an expression of | ||||||
| 7 | our sympathy.
