| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Margaret M. Condor of Oak Park, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on July 3, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Margaret Condor was born on October 28, 1920 in | ||||||
| 6 | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; she was a ground-breaking sergeant | ||||||
| 7 | in the 609th Army Counter-Intelligence Corp., Women's Army | ||||||
| 8 | Corps, during World War II; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Margaret Condor worked for the Baskin Clothing | ||||||
| 10 | Company in Chicago, and more recently, at the front desk of the | ||||||
| 11 | Oak Park Public Library; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Margaret Condor was preceded in death by her son, | ||||||
| 13 | William Condor, and her parents, Andrew and Sarah Mulholland; | ||||||
| 14 | and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Margaret Condor is survived by her children, Jim | ||||||
| 16 | (Paula Ferguson), Bob (Mary), and Deborah, and her | ||||||
| 17 | grandchildren, Caley, Lisa, Arthur, and Lana; she was the | ||||||
| 18 | sister of the late Mary (the late George) McAdoo, Isabel (the | ||||||
| 19 | late Ted) Jenkins, Jane (the late Ralph) Hall, and Andrew | ||||||
| 20 | Mulholland, and the aunt of Georgeanna (Rob) Moncrief, Laureen | ||||||
| 21 | (Michael) McGuire, Dr. George McAdoo Jr., Sally Levine, Peggy | ||||||

| 1 | Jane Hall, and the late Kenny Hall; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Margaret M. Condor, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
| 5 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
