SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Roger J. Walneck of Crystal Lake, who
passed away on January 25, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was born in Chicago on March 15,
1938; he married Nancy Bowes at Transfiguration Church in
Wauconda on October 29, 1960; and
WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was employed at Conlon Collins Ford
for 50 years; and
WHEREAS, Roger Walneck had a passion for selling cars and
appreciated all of his customers, whom he considered his
friends; he was a family man and loved spending time with them,
especially his grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was preceded in death by his mother,
Mary Hotovy; his stepfather, Chas Hotovy; and his siblings,
Alice, Ed, Marnie, and Rudy; and
WHEREAS, Roger Walneck is survived by his loving wife of 55
years, Nancy; his children, Michelle (Joe) Villicana and
Melissa (Todd) May; his grandchildren, Noelle and Nick
Villicana and Morgan and Trevor May; his brother, Charles

(Judi) Walneck; and many nieces, nephews, and friends;
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Roger J. Walneck, and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Roger Walneck as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
