SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Roger J. Walneck of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on January 25, 2016; and
5 WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was born in Chicago on March 15,
61938; he married Nancy Bowes at Transfiguration Church in
7Wauconda on October 29, 1960; and
8 WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was employed at Conlon Collins Ford
9for 50 years; and
10 WHEREAS, Roger Walneck had a passion for selling cars and
11appreciated all of his customers, whom he considered his
12friends; he was a family man and loved spending time with them,
13especially his grandchildren; and
14 WHEREAS, Roger Walneck was preceded in death by his mother,
15Mary Hotovy; his stepfather, Chas Hotovy; and his siblings,
16Alice, Ed, Marnie, and Rudy; and
17 WHEREAS, Roger Walneck is survived by his loving wife of 55
18years, Nancy; his children, Michelle (Joe) Villicana and
19Melissa (Todd) May; his grandchildren, Noelle and Nick
20Villicana and Morgan and Trevor May; his brother, Charles

2therefore, be it
3 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Roger J. Walneck, and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
8 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Roger Walneck as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
