2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Sharon Lee Schlough of Crystal Lake, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 11, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough was born in New Castle, | ||||||
6 | Pennsylvania on December 9, 1946 to Wilma (nee Mallicoat) and | ||||||
7 | Russell Boyd; she graduated from New Castle Junior/Senior High | ||||||
8 | School, and, in 1968, attended Western Airlines Flight | ||||||
9 | Attendant Training; she was based out of San Francisco and | ||||||
10 | married Capt. James E. Schlough; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough and her husband settled in Crystal | ||||||
12 | Lake and she became a stay-at-home mom; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough enjoyed playing tennis with | ||||||
14 | friends at The Racket Club; Bunco; cheering Team World Vision | ||||||
15 | marathoners; board games; visiting local nursing homes with her | ||||||
16 | therapy companion dog, Winston; traveling with her family; and | ||||||
17 | gift-giving; and

18 | WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough was preceded in death by her | ||||||
19 | parents; her sister, Sandra Allain; and her granddaughter, Anna | ||||||
20 | Louise Kemen; and

1 | WHEREAS, Sharon Schlough is survived by her husband, James; | ||||||
2 | her children, Jamie (Ted) Kemen, Carrie, and Gregory; and her | ||||||
3 | grandsons, Thomas and Trevor; therefore, be it
| ||||||
4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
6 | Sharon Lee Schlough, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
7 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
8 | further

9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Sharon Schlough as an expression of | ||||||
11 | our deepest sympathy.
