SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Wandalyn Walls of Sun City, Arizona,
formerly of River Forest and Oak Park, who passed away on May
30, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was born on July 31, 1924 to Gladys
and Merton Fisher; and
WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls as a long-time member of Harvard
Congregational Church in Oak Park; she was a breast cancer
survivor and volunteered at the River Forest Breast Care Center
and the West Suburban and Oak Park hospitals for over 20 years;
and
WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was married to William Kucharik for
over 30 years and to Dr. C. E. Walls, M.D.; and
WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls was preceded in death by her
sister, Marilyn Maxwell; and
WHEREAS, Wandalyn Walls is survived by her sons, Ronald
(Karen) Kucharik, Charles (Patricia) Kucharik, and Larry
(Kitty Monaghan) Kucharik; her 2 nieces; 8 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; and her much loved cat, Cindy; therefore,

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Wandalyn Walls, and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Wandalyn Walls as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
