| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Jack R. Haskins of Hampton, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on December 1, 2020; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jack Haskins was born to Chester and Marjorie | ||||||
| 6 | (Weckel) Haskins in Rock Island on July 27, 1935; he graduated | ||||||
| 7 | from Port Byron High School and served honorably as a corporal | ||||||
| 8 | in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; he married | ||||||
| 9 | Grace B. Wise at the Hampton United Methodist Church on June 6, | ||||||
| 10 | 1958, and she preceded him in death on April 6, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Jack Haskins worked for ALCOA for 42 years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Jack Haskins loved fishing, mushroom hunting, | ||||||
| 13 | golfing, bowling, and playing cards with his grandchildren; he | ||||||
| 14 | was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Jack Haskins was preceded in death by his wife; | ||||||
| 16 | his parents; his sister, Joan Tolliver; and his brother, Louis | ||||||
| 17 | "Lee" Haskins; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Jack Haskins is survived by his children, Scott | ||||||
| 19 | Haskins, Peggy McLaughlin, Jack Haskins Jr., Terry Haskins, | ||||||
| 20 | Jerry Haskins, and Mike Haskins; his sister, Joyce Reiling; his | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | sisters-in-law, Barb Haskins, Susie Bledsoe, and Rosemary | ||||||
| 2 | Hassell; his eight grandchildren; his 19 great-grandchildren; | ||||||
| 3 | and his one great-great-grandchild; therefore, be it

| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

condolences to his | ||||||
