| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Carl Canova, who passed away on March 14, | ||||||
| 4 | 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Carl Canova was born on August 4, 1922; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Carl Canova served in the United States Army as a | ||||||
| 7 | medic; he saw considerable action in Europe during World War | ||||||
| 8 | II; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 11 | Carl Canova, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
| 12 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 14 | presented to the family of Carl Canova as an expression of our | ||||||
| 15 | deepest sympathy.
