SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Carl Brueckner of Champaign, who passed
away on February 25, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Carl Brueckner was born in Chicago to Carl
Frederick and Faye Martin Brueckner on June 29 1934; he served
in the United States Army; he married Mary Elizabeth Coletta in
Reno, Nevada on January 1, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Carl Brueckner worked in real estate investments;
and
WHEREAS, Carl Brueckner was a member of St. Matthew
Catholic Church; and
WHEREAS, Carl Brueckner is survived by his wife, Mary; his
daughter, Cinthia Paul; and his grandchildren, Holly Anderson,
Justin Paul, and Shaundra Paul; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Carl Brueckner and extend our sincere condolences to his
family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Carl Brueckner as an expression of
