| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Richard H. Witting of McHenry, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 10, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Richard Witting was born on May 13, 1923, in | ||||||
| 6 | Marquette, Michigan; his parents were Richard F. and Lydia (nee | ||||||
| 7 | Chantelois) Witting; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Richard Witting was a graduate engineer and worked | ||||||
| 9 | as a plant supervisor for many years; he also served his | ||||||
| 10 | country as a member of the United States Coast Guard; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Richard Witting was a member of St. Patrick's | ||||||
| 12 | Church; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Richard Witting was preceded in death by his first | ||||||
| 14 | wife, Alberta Elizabeth "Birdie" Witting; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Richard Witting is survived by his wife, Angela | ||||||
| 16 | Witting; 2 sons, Richard R. Witting and Dennis Witting; 2 | ||||||
| 17 | step-daughters, Patricia Ann Dumong and Cecilia Bermudez; 2 | ||||||
| 18 | step-grandchildren, Angelica and Raymond Hornbower; and his | ||||||
| 19 | caregiver and friend, Virginia; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard H. Witting; | ||||||
| 4 | and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Richard Witting as an expression of | ||||||
