2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Carolyn J. Samaras of Danville, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on July 3, 2014; and

5 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Samaras was born in Thayer on June 2, 1923 | ||||||
6 | to J. Everett and Helen (nee Spencer) Brown; she married | ||||||
7 | Alexander G. Samaras on December 26, 1943 in Virden; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Samaras was preceded in death by her | ||||||
9 | parents; one son, Paul Samaras; and one brother, Stuart Brown; | ||||||
10 | and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Carolyn Samaras is survived by her husband, | ||||||
12 | Alexander; 2 sons, David Samaras and Mark (Julie) Samaras; one | ||||||
13 | daughter, Nancy (Thomas) Fahey; one daughter-in-law, Anne | ||||||
14 | Samaras; 10 grandchildren, Trace (Sarah) Johnson, Catherine | ||||||
