| 1 | SENATE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Anton "Tony" Visocnik of Beach Park, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on August 28, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Anton Visocnik was born in January of 1920 in | ||||||
| 6 | Slovenia; he came to the United States with his wife and | ||||||
| 7 | daughter in 1951 and became a United States citizen in December | ||||||
| 8 | of 1956; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Anton Visocnik retired from Johnson Outboards and | ||||||
| 10 | spent 26 years of his retirement in Florida before returning | ||||||
| 11 | home to Beach Park in 2010; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Anton Visocnik is survived by his wife, Maria | ||||||
| 13 | Visocnik; 2 sons, Mario (Gwyn) Visocnik and Walter (Brenda) | ||||||
| 14 | Visocnik; a daughter, Erika (Kenneth) Bergeron; 9 | ||||||
| 15 | grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 18 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Anton "Tony" Visocnik; | ||||||
| 19 | and be it further
| ||||||
| 20 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
