| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of John F. Pretto of Vernon Hills, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on August 19, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, John Pretto was born on July 29, 1926 in Crystal | ||||||
| 6 | Falls, Michigan; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, John Pretto served as a member of the United | ||||||
| 8 | States Marine Corps in the Pacific theatre during World War II; | ||||||
| 9 | and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, John Pretto was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan | ||||||
| 11 | and a member of the Local 56 Bricklayers Union; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, John Pretto is survived by his wife of 50 years, | ||||||
| 13 | Anna (nee Doran); 3 children, John Pretto, Michael "Mikey" | ||||||
| 14 | (Jennifer) Pretto, and Anji (William) Sims; a daughter-in-law, | ||||||
| 15 | Jennifer; 5 grandchildren, Alexa, Ava, Anthony, Donald John | ||||||
| 16 | "DJ", and Isabella "Bella", a sister, Carmen Nardi; and a | ||||||
| 17 | brother, Donald Broskowitz; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 20 | family and friends, mourn the passing of John F. Pretto; and be | ||||||
