| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Orpha L. Krapf of Springfield, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on January 2, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was born on June 29, 1920 in Joliet; | ||||||
| 6 | her parents were William and Edith (nee Vance) Ruthenbeck; she | ||||||
| 7 | married Floyd Krapf in 1941; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf retired from Horace Mann after many | ||||||
| 9 | years of service; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was very involved with ministries at | ||||||
| 11 | church and community social services; she also loved spending | ||||||
| 12 | time with her family; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
| 14 | Floyd; her parents; her daughter, Lynne Krapf; and her sister, | ||||||
| 15 | Naomi Goist; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf is survived by her children, William | ||||||
| 17 | (Kathleen) Krapf, Judi Keller, Peg Booker, and Laurel Patkes; | ||||||
| 18 | her grandchildren: Kimberly (Chris), Kelly, Kyle, Steve | ||||||
| 19 | (Mandy), Michelle (Terry), Dawn, and Melissa (Peter); her | ||||||
| 20 | several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Condon; | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
| 4 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Orpha L. Krapf; and be | ||||||
| 5 | it further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 7 | presented to the family of Orpha Krapf as an expression of our | ||||||
| 8 | sympathy.
