1 | SENATE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Philip Crusius of Arlington Heights; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a self-employed software | ||||||
5 | engineer by trade; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a member of the Arlington | ||||||
7 | Heights Elementary School District 25 Board since 2009; he | ||||||
8 | first became involved with District 25 when his children were | ||||||
9 | students and volunteered many hours coaching Science Olympiad | ||||||
10 | at South Middle School, where his children attended; he also | ||||||
11 | served as the tech coordinator for the drama department at | ||||||
12 | South Middle School; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Philip Crusius served as an assistant scoutmaster | ||||||
14 | with the Boy Scouts and served as a volunteer with PADS | ||||||
15 | homeless shelters; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Philip Crusius was a member of United Methodist | ||||||
17 | Church; he also once ran for election to serve on the Arlington | ||||||
18 | Heights Village Board; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Philip Crusius is survived by his wife, Patty, and | ||||||
20 | his 2 children; therefore, be it

1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Philip Crusius; and be | ||||||
4 | it further

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
6 | presented to the family of Philip Crusius as an expression of | ||||||
7 | our sympathy.
