| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Connie (Hawkins) Michelich of Auburn, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on December 17, 2024; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Connie Michelich was born to Mildred "Jackie" and | ||||||
| 6 | William Hawkins in Springfield on February 28, 1955; she | ||||||
| 7 | married Joe Michelich at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn on | ||||||
| 8 | June 14, 1997; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Connie Michelich worked at South County | ||||||
| 10 | Publications in Auburn for almost 40 years; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Connie Michelich was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 12 | parents and her sister, Shirley Hawkins; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Connie Michelich is survived by her husband, Joe; | ||||||
| 14 | her sons, Richard (Amy) Schwartz II and Sean (Julia) McAuliff; | ||||||
| 15 | her daughter, Adrienne Bond; seven grandchildren; and her | ||||||
| 16 | brothers, Russ Hawkins and Dale Hawkins; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
| 18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 19 | Connie (Hawkins) Michelich and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
