SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Ronald M. "Ronnie" Larsen, who passed
away on December 24, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen believed every day should be like
Christmas, filled with family, kindness, and love; and
WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen was preceded in death by his son,
David Michael Larsen; his great-grandson, Gabriel Biggs; his
father, Nicklas Larsen; his sisters, Wendell and Kathleen
Larsen; his mother, Dorothy Welch; his stepfather, Frank Welch;
his sister, Lois Vucitech; and his brother, Bob Welch; and
WHEREAS, Ronnie Larsen is survived by his wife of 65 years,
Doris "Toots" Larsen; his children, Jeanmarie Dunne, Ron Jr.
"Moose" (Brenda) Larsen, and Kaye-Kaye (Sam) Larsen Olloway;
his grandchildren, Megan Nicole "Nicci" Dunne, Amber Biggs, and
Jacob Larsen; his great-grandchildren, Jalen Black and Ezekiel
Biggs; his brothers, Frank "Junior" Welch Jr. and Robert
"Butch" Larsen; his sisters, Jeanine Frank and Barbara Bubon;
numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his fur-babies, Walter
and Scarlett; and his fur-babies at Fat Cat Rescue; therefore,

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Ronald M. "Ronnie" Larsen and extend our sincere condolences to
his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Ronnie Larsen as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
