2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary Bricker of Watseka, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on December 28, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Bricker was born in
Hutsonville to Everett | ||||||
6 | and Lela Savidge Musgrave on February 19, 1924; she
married | ||||||
7 | Edward Stanley Bricker in Champaign on June 30, 1951; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Mary Bricker was a member of the First United | ||||||
9 | Methodist Church in Watseka and the National Education | ||||||
10 | Association; she was a Iroquois Memorial Hospital Auxiliary | ||||||
11 | life member and a University of
Illinois Alumni life member; | ||||||
12 | and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mary Bricker was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
14 | Edward; her
parents; her brothers, Stanley and John Musgrave; | ||||||
15 | and her sister, Clara
Green; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Mary Bricker is survived by several nieces, | ||||||
17 | nephews, and close friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
20 | Mary Bricker, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, |
