2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Russell Wayne Prunty Sr. of Moline, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on October 6, 2022; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was born to Fred W. and Virginia | ||||||
6 | (Marlow) Prunty in Macomb on October 5, 1947; he served in the | ||||||
7 | U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; he married Patsy L. Surber on | ||||||
8 | June 7, 1969; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was employed as a painter for | ||||||
10 | International Harvester, retiring after 34 years; he also | ||||||
11 | worked for 13 years as a truck driver, which he loved; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was known for his sense of humor; he | ||||||
13 | enjoyed vacationing in Florida, sitting on his porch and | ||||||
14 | relaxing, and playing Yahtzee with his wife; above all, he | ||||||
15 | loved spending time with his family; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
17 | and his sister, Gail; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Wayne Prunty is survived by his wife; his son, | ||||||
19 | Russ Prunty; his grandson, Joey Prunty; and his niece, Ashley | ||||||
20 | Prunty; therefore, be it
