1 | SENATE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Gary L. Bradley of East Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on July 11, 2022; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Gary Bradley was born to Paul G. Bradley and | ||||||
6 | Alice I. (Lewis) Bradley in Moline on September 5, 1947; he | ||||||
7 | served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967; his military service | ||||||
8 | included a year tour in Vietnam, where he attained the rank of | ||||||
9 | specialist; he additionally served as an aviation electrician | ||||||
10 | in the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1981; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Gary Bradley worked at the Rock Island Arsenal | ||||||
12 | until his retirement; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Gary Bradley was affectionately known as | ||||||
14 | "Butchie"; he enjoyed making crafts, fishing, and taking his | ||||||
15 | nieces and nephews to movies and the Wildcat Den State Park; | ||||||
16 | and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Gary Bradley is survived by his siblings, | ||||||
18 | Patricia Dau, Edmond Bradley, and Paula (Doug) Lundquist; his | ||||||
19 | several nieces and nephews; and his cousins; therefore, be it
| ||||||
20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL |

2 | Gary L. Bradley and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
3 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
