| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Virgil Baldwin of Bloomington, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on April 8, 2020; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was born in Hardin County to Virgil | ||||||
| 6 | and Verna (Belford) Baldwin on January 25, 1934; he married | ||||||
| 7 | Elva Alice "Tudi" Floyd on February 28, 1959, and she preceded | ||||||
| 8 | him in death on July 15, 2011; he served his country in the | ||||||
| 9 | Korean War and with the Army of Occupation in Berlin, Germany; | ||||||
| 10 | and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was an avid golfer and hunter; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin is survived by his sons, Greg | ||||||
| 13 | (Alice) Baldwin and Jason (Jolene) Baldwin, and his | ||||||
| 14 | grandchildren, Steven Baldwin, Josie Baldwin, Hannah Baldwin, | ||||||
| 15 | Hunter Baldwin, and Holden Baldwin; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 18 | Virgil Baldwin and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 19 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 20 | further
