SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of James R. Lunsford, Jr., who passed away
on March 23, 2014; and
WHEREAS, James Lunsford, Jr. was raised in Chicago, where
he lived most of his life; he was a resident of Vernon Hills
for the past 25 years; and
WHEREAS, James Lunsford, Jr. served his country as a
non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and
was a veteran of the Vietnam War; and
WHEREAS, James Lunsford, Jr. is survived by his beloved
wife, Andrea L. (nee Grzesiakowski); he was the loving brother
of Billie (the late Ralph) Bertuca, Carol (the late Frank)
Swiatek, and the late Fred Lunsford; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
family and friends, mourn the passing of James R. Lunsford,
Jr.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of James Lunsford, Jr. as an expression
