| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Tim Jansen of Bartelso, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | on December 2, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was born on February 3, 1967, in | ||||||
| 6 | Breese; his parents were Marjorie "Margie" (nee Gebke) Jansen | ||||||
| 7 | and Paul Jansen; he married Brenda Kluemke on January 28, 1995, | ||||||
| 8 | at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was the owner and operator of MacJennas | ||||||
| 10 | Restaurant in Bartelso; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic | ||||||
| 12 | Church in Bartelso; he was also a 15-year veteran of the Santa | ||||||
| 13 | Fe Fire Protection District in Bartelso, Bartelso Knights of | ||||||
| 14 | Columbus Council 4745, and the 7 Levee Club in Bartelso; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was an avid deer hunter and loved | ||||||
| 16 | spending time with his family and friends on the river and at | ||||||
| 17 | the clubhouse; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen was preceded in death by his father; | ||||||
| 19 | his mother-in-law, Bernadette (nee Varel) Kluemke; his dear | ||||||
| 20 | uncle, Fr. James Jansen; and his many aunts and uncles; and

| 1 | WHEREAS, Tim Jansen is survived by his wife, Brenda; his | ||||||
| 2 | daughters, Mackenna and Jenna Jansen; his siblings, Tony | ||||||
| 3 | (Brenda) Jansen, Lynn (Louie) Loepker, Jeff (Sonja) Jansen, Joe | ||||||
| 4 | (Sandy) Jansen, and Theresa (Jim) Ghormley; his father-in-law, | ||||||
| 5 | Gerhard Kluemke; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Karen | ||||||
| 6 | (Linus) Ripperda, Brian (Sam) Kluemke, Craig (Tanya) Kluemke, | ||||||
| 7 | and Danny (Shelly) Kluemke; and his many nieces and nephews; | ||||||
| 8 | therefore, be it

| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 11 | his family and friends, the passing of Tim Jansen; and be it | ||||||
