SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Kendra Kay Hatcher, D.D.S, of Dallas,
Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Kendra Hatcher was born in Springfield on February
3, 1980 to Ragan Hatcher and Bonnie Gibson Jameson-Cawley; she
graduated from DePauw University and the University Of Kentucky
College Of Dentistry; she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta;
and
WHEREAS, Kendra Hatcher worked as a pediatric dentist in
Dallas, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Kendra Hatcher loved traveling, working with
children, and spending time with her family, especially her
nieces and nephews; she enjoyed performing philanthropic work
in Spain and Ecuador; she also enjoyed Bikram yoga, living an
active lifestyle, shopping, and running on the Katy Trail; and
WHEREAS, Kendra Hatcher is survived by her mother, Bonnie
(Dave) Jameson-Cawley; her father, Ragan (Toni) Hatcher; her
stepfather, Bruce Jameson; her 3 sisters, Jamie (Jeffrey)
Kaufmann, Ashley Lipscomb, and Melissa Jameson; her brother,
Neil (Ericka) Hatcher; and her 5 nieces and nephews, Miles,

Josie, Rowan, Graham, and Jensyn Kay; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Kendra Kay Hatcher, D.D.S., and extend our sincere condolences
to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Kendra Hatcher as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
