SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Julie Lynn (Whitler) Anderson of
4Harrisburg, who passed away on May 19, 2024; and
5 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was born in Eldorado on December
620, 1957; she was raised in a large and lively family; and
7 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson worked as a caring and dedicated
8pharmacy technician at Walmart Pharmacy for over 35 years; and
9 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson loved traveling, reading, dancing,
10singing, playing cards, and spending time by the ocean,
11especially while listening to the Beach Boys; and
12 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson's lifelong passion was her family,
13and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren,
14whether on weekends or summer nights when the girls were out of
15school or attending their ball games where she was known to
16cheer loudly and proudly; and
17 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was known for possessing a
18rambunctious and adventurous spirit and a selfless soul,
19offering guidance and unconditional love that touched many
20lives; she leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom; and

1 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson was preceded in death by her
2husband, Lynn Anderson; her mother, Patricia (Elder) Clark;
3and her grandmother, Delsey (Ward) Whitler; and
4 WHEREAS, Julie Anderson is survived by her father, Keith
5(Brenda) Whitler; her brothers, Andy Whitler, Josh Whitler,
6and Brent Clark; her sisters, Leslie Hanson and Lori Burdeaux;
7her sons, Jeremy (Shawna) Johns and Jordan Anderson; her
8granddaughters, Annaclaire (Caleb), Jerra, and Mia; and her
9granddog, Remmy; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Julie Lynn (Whitler) Anderson and extend our sincere
13condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
14her; and be it further
