| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Lonnie Burns Hargis of Moline, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 21, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis was born on March 8, 1937 in Wood | ||||||
| 6 | River; his parents were Judson Burns and Louise Greenling | ||||||
| 7 | Hargis; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis proudly served in the United States | ||||||
| 9 | Marine Corps; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Lonnie Hargis worked as a welder for Plumbers and | ||||||
| 11 | Pipefitters Union Local 25 for many years; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 14 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Lonnie Burns Hargis; | ||||||
| 15 | and be it further

| 16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 17 | presented to the family of Lonnie Hargis as an expression of | ||||||
| 18 | our sympathy.
