| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Edward Royce "Fast Eddie" Sholar of | ||||||
| 4 | Alton, who passed away on July 22, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Edward Sholar was born on August 16, 1953 at Scott | ||||||
| 6 | Air Force Base Hospital in St. Clair County; his parents were | ||||||
| 7 | Dexter Atwood Sholar and Norma Lee (nee Schelle) Sholar; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Edward Sholar graduated from Alton High School in | ||||||
| 9 | 1971; he owned and operated numerous businesses until his | ||||||
| 10 | retirement in 2008; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Edward Sholar was preceded in death by his mother; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Edward Sholar is survived by his father; his | ||||||
| 14 | children, Amy Sholar, Edward "Eddie" Sholar, Jr., Maggie | ||||||
| 15 | Sholar, Katherine (Chris) Wilson and their mother, Sarah Farley | ||||||
| 16 | Woodman, and Danielle (Mick) McCahill and her mother, Breda | ||||||
| 17 | Laplante; his grandchildren, Sadie and Joe Lupercio, Abigail | ||||||
| 18 | Sholar, Sarah, Charles, and Grace Sholar, Emma and Trent | ||||||
| 19 | Wilson, and Mazy McCahill; his brothers, Michael "Elwood" | ||||||
| 20 | Sholar, Richard "Hawk" Sholar, and John (Shannon) Sholar; his | ||||||

| 6 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward Royce "Fast | ||||||
| 7 | Eddie" Sholar; and be it further
