2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Judith Rose Gianasi of Taylorville, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 15, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi was born in Springfield to Emil | ||||||
6 | John and Rose (Dolenc) Leonard on October 16, 1943; she married | ||||||
7 | Ceasar Gianasi in Springfield on June 26, 1966; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi worked as a homemaker and farmer; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi served as a Taylorville Township | ||||||
11 | trustee; she was an avid golfer, won the ladies city tournament | ||||||
12 | several times, and had two holes-in-one; she was a member of | ||||||
13 | Taylorville Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1425 and Christian County | ||||||
14 | Democrat Women; and

15 | WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi was preceded in death by her | ||||||
16 | parents; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi is survived by her husband, Ceasar; | ||||||
18 | her sons, Louis (Christi Meyer) Gianasi and Michael Gianasi; | ||||||
19 | her brothers, Tom (Martha) Leonard and Dan (Dianne) Leonard; | ||||||
20 | and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Judith Rose Gianasi, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
