2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of John Glen Duncan of Granite City, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on August 29, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, John Duncan was born on March 4, 1934 in Bee | ||||||
6 | Branch, Arkansas; his parents were John and Lillie (nee Mahon) | ||||||
7 | Duncan; he married June Dudley on November 7, 1992 in St. Ann, | ||||||
8 | Missouri; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, John Duncan was a dedicated Shriner and president | ||||||
10 | of the Moolah Shrine and the YOMA Unit in St. Louis, Missouri; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, John Duncan retired from Lou Fusz Dealership in | ||||||
13 | Ellisville, Missouri as a parts manager after many years of | ||||||
14 | dedicated service; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, John Duncan enjoyed sports and was an avid St. | ||||||
16 | Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams fan; he also enjoyed | ||||||
17 | spending time with his family and friends; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, John Duncan was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
19 | and 4 brothers, Harold, Estel, Jerry, and Ralph Duncan; and

1 | WHEREAS, John Duncan is survived by his devoted wife, June; | ||||||
2 | 8 children, Allan (Mary Kay) Duncan, Pam (Kevin) Munro, Mark | ||||||
3 | (Debbie) Becherer, Diane (John) Prazma, Michael (Deborah) | ||||||
4 | Becherer, Tom Becherer, Janet (Mark) Price, and David (Karen) | ||||||
5 | Becherer; a sister, Joyce Bowen; 20 grandchildren; 6 | ||||||
6 | great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends; | ||||||
7 | therefore, be it

8 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
9 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
10 | family and friends, mourn the passing of John Glen Duncan; and | ||||||
11 | be it further
