| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Kevin Fay, who passed away on September | ||||||
| 4 | 9, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was a native of Drumnaveigh, | ||||||
| 6 | Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, Ireland; he was educated in the | ||||||
| 7 | Stravicnabo National School; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was a respected carpenter and | ||||||
| 9 | homebuilder for 35 years, specializing in the Chicago areas of | ||||||
| 10 | Edison Park, Norwood Park, and the suburb of Park Ridge; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was affectionately known as "PaPa | ||||||
| 12 | Kevin"; he was a loyal friend and favorite uncle and was known | ||||||
| 13 | for his gentle ways and genuine authenticity; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was preceded in death by his siblings, | ||||||
| 15 | Mollie, Winnie, Rose, Dympna, Sister Mary Gertrude, Bridie, | ||||||
| 16 | John, Packie, and Ben; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Kevin Fay is survived by his sister, Maeve Colby; | ||||||
| 18 | he was the loving husband of 40 years of the late Mary | ||||||
| 19 | (Molyneaux); the devoted son of the late James and Katie Fay | ||||||
| 20 | (Smith); the cherished father of Kathy (George), Regis (Cathy), | ||||||

| 1 | Bernie (Mary Ann), Kenny (Arlen), Dympna (Rob), Frank (Taryn), | ||||||
| 2 | Sharon (John), and Rebecca (Larry); the proud grandfather of | ||||||
| 3 | Kevin, Kyle (Katie), and Ryan Bigoness, Declan, Kevin, Brendan, | ||||||
| 4 | Quinn, Brian, Evan, Stephanie, Lisa, John, Joe, and Molly Fay, | ||||||
| 5 | Emily O'Hara (William), Aidan and Nolan Hart, Riley McInerney, | ||||||

| 7 | great-grandfather to Isabella Bigoness, Evelyn O'Hara, and | ||||||

| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 10 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 11 | Kevin Fay, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, | ||||||
| 12 | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 14 | presented to the family of Kevin Fay as an expression of our | ||||||
| 15 | deepest sympathy.
