2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Robert Lee "Lee Dog" Brownfield of | ||||||
4 | Havana, who passed away on January 28, 2024; and

5 | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was born to Barbara A. "Bobbie" | ||||||
6 | Brownfield in Pekin on January 24, 1960; he served in the U.S. | ||||||
7 | Army as a private first class with the Echo Tab 25th Field | ||||||
8 | Artillery Wolf Pack at Camp Stanley in Korea until 1981; and

9 | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield worked for Wareco and Tracer | ||||||
10 | Industries; he was also a contractor in construction for Wes | ||||||
11 | Hilst for many years; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield became a life member of Havana | ||||||
13 | VFW Post #6408 in March 2021; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield was preceded in death by his | ||||||
15 | mother; his stepfather, Harold Yaeck; his grandparents, Henry | ||||||
16 | "Hank" Brownfield and Jane Brownfield; and his dog, Rocky Dog; | ||||||

18 | WHEREAS, Robert Brownfield is survived by his brother, | ||||||
19 | Ronald (Angela) Wubben; his sister, Deb Joseph; his | ||||||
20 | stepbrother, David Wubben; his stepsister, Denise (Bernard) |
