SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply
3saddened to learn of death of Donna J. Hayes of Alton, who
4passed away on September 12, 2012; and
5 WHEREAS, Donna Hayes was born on March 5, 1938, in La
6Salle, to Howard and Lela Frances (Noble) Pierce; she married
7Donald E. Hayes on June 1, 1958, in Springfield; and
8 WHEREAS, Donna Hayes worked for the Illinois State Police,
9Bethalto National Bank, and U.S. Bank; she was a member of the
10College Avenue Presbyterian Church in Alton; and
11 WHEREAS, Donna Hayes was preceded in death by her parents,
12Howard and Lela Frances Pierce, and her granddaughter,
13Stephanie Hayes; and
14 WHEREAS, Donna Hayes is survived by her husband, Donald;
15her sons, Daniel (Lisa) R. Hayes, David (Julie) Hayes, Doug
16(Barb) Hayes, and Darrin (Lisa) Hayes; her daughter, Debbie
17(Mark) Macias; her grandchildren, Brian (Tara) Hayes, Scott
18Hayes, Courtney Hayes, Lauran (Ryan) Hoefert, Joni Hayes,
19Hillary Macias, Jordan Hayes, Brittany Hayes, Kaitlyn Hayes,
20Emily Macias, Rachel Hayes, and Brandon Hayes; and her sister,
21Kay Steele; therefore, be it

1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Donna Hayes, and we extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Donna Hayes as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
