2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Michael L. "Mike" Bagby of East | ||||||
4 | Moline, who passed away on April 2, 2024; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mike Bagby, the son of Donald and Shirley | ||||||
6 | Burroughs Bagby, was born in Bloomington on July 7, 1948; he | ||||||
7 | served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict; | ||||||
8 | he married Jane Combs in El Paso on March 29, 1975; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Mike Bagby retired from Sexton Ford Moline in | ||||||
10 | 2011, after 30 years of service; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Mike Bagby was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
12 | and his brothers, Donald and Bill Bagby; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mike Bagby is survived by his wife of 49 years, | ||||||
14 | Jane; his sons, Brad (Audrey) Bagby, Brian (Kelli) Bagby, and | ||||||
15 | Benjamin Bagby; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and | ||||||
16 | his brothers, Gary (Martha) Bagby, Tom (Sue) Bagby, and Jim | ||||||
17 | (Donna) Bagby; therefore, be it
