1 | SENATE RESOLUTION

2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Stanley L. Lambert of Urbana, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on July 21, 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Stanley Lambert was born on February 12, 1932 near | ||||||
6 | Kearney, Nebraska; his parents were George W. and Celia Ellen | ||||||
7 | (nee Helriegel) Lambert; he married Margot (nee Alonso) on | ||||||
8 | September 21, 1985 in Rantoul; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Stanley Lambert retired from the United States Air | ||||||
10 | Force in November of 1971 after many years of dedicated | ||||||
11 | service; he was a graduate of the Spartan College of | ||||||
12 | Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous Air Force Technical | ||||||
13 | Schools; he was also a master instructor; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Stanley Lambert taught in the Automatic Flight | ||||||
15 | Control Systems Course and Compass Systems at Chanute Air Force | ||||||
16 | Base at Rantoul and at several mobile training detachments | ||||||
17 | nationwide; he was assigned to the 377th Combat Support Group | ||||||
18 | in Vietnam and to a special assignment to Southeast Asia as a | ||||||
19 | member of the 20th Helicopter Squadron, also known as the Pony | ||||||
20 | Express; and

21 | WHEREAS, After retiring from the military, Stanley Lambert |

1 | was employed as an automobile dealer and sales manager at | ||||||
2 | Frazier Pontiac-Buick and Stan's Auto Sales in Rantoul; he was | ||||||
3 | also the dealer principal at Shields Pontiac-Olds-Cadillac-GMC | ||||||
4 | Truck in Paxton; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Stanley Lambert enjoyed restoring automobiles, | ||||||
6 | boating, and the culinary arts; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Stanley Lambert is survived by his wife, Margot; 2 | ||||||
8 | daughters, Linda Lambert (Derald) Mennenga and Margie Brocato | ||||||
9 | Subervi; 3 sons, John Lambert, Frank (Lisa) Brocato, Jr., and | ||||||
10 | Paul (Angie) Brocato; a brother, George Lundgren; 2 sisters, | ||||||
11 | Merna Bise and Lois Bise; 13 grandchildren; and many | ||||||
12 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

13 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
14 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
15 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Stanley L. Lambert; | ||||||
16 | and be it further

17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
18 | presented to the family of Stanley Lambert as an expression of | ||||||
19 | our sympathy.
