2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Barbara J. "Barb" Milbauer of Dwight, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 10, 2022; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Barb Milbauer was born to Adolph and Hollis | ||||||
6 | (Patchett) Porter in Reddick on February 21, 1939; she married | ||||||
7 | Jennings Milbauer on June 22, 1957, and he preceded her in | ||||||
8 | death on December 16, 2016; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Barb Milbauer enjoyed gardening and ceramics; she | ||||||
10 | operated the ceramic shop Try Your Hand Studio, which was | ||||||
11 | enjoyed by many, and her backyard swimming pool will be | ||||||
12 | remembered as the place many local people learned to swim; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Barb Milbauer was kind and generous with her | ||||||
14 | time; she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the | ||||||
15 | Junior Women's Club, the Dwight Grade School Board of | ||||||
16 | Education, and the Crafting Guild; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Barb Milbauer was preceded in death by her | ||||||
18 | husband; her parents; and her brother, Jerry Porter; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Barb Milbauer is survived by her sons, Jeff | ||||||
20 | (Tammy) Milbauer and Mark (Emily) Milbauer; her grandchildren, |

1 | Amber (Rob) Marx, Jessica (Zach) DeLong, Melissa (Neal) | ||||||
2 | Gilham, and Audrey Milbauer; her great-grandchildren, Makenzie | ||||||

4 | Graf; and her several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

7 | Barbara "Barb" J. Milbauer and extend our sincere
condolences | ||||||
8 | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
her; and be | ||||||
