SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Brett Richard Brubaker, who passed away
on June 3, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Brett Brubaker was born on June 25, 1962, in
Arlington Heights; his parents were Dick and Beth Brubaker; he
married Mary Lynn Morgan in 2001; and
WHEREAS, Brett Brubaker moved to Elburn with his family in
1976; he attended Kaneland High School, where he graduated in
1980; he subsequently attended Taylor University, where he
graduated in 1984; and
WHEREAS, In 2011, Brett Brubaker and his wife moved to
Brookfield, Wisconsin, where he was employed as a senior
software developer at MC Services; and
WHEREAS, Brett Brubaker enjoyed playing fast-pitch
softball and spending time with his wife and children; and
WHEREAS, Brett Brubaker is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn
Brubaker; his children, Brandi and Brennan Brubaker and Jody
Henningson; his parents, Dick and Beth Brubaker; and his
siblings, Scott Brubaker, Linda Nelson, Dana Gould, Sarah

Ahrens, and Liz Ruh; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
his family and friends, the passing of Brett Richard Brubaker;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Brett Brubaker as an expression of
our sympathy.
