| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Betty J. Jackson of McHenry, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on January 3, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was born on April 19, 1930 in | ||||||
| 6 | Chicago to Gerard and Mildred (nee Hensel) Schons; she married | ||||||
| 7 | Joseph Jackson on September 19, 1949 at St. John the Baptist | ||||||
| 8 | Catholic Church in Johnsburg; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was a member of St. Patrick Church | ||||||
| 10 | in McHenry, where she was active in the Ladies Guild; she | ||||||
| 11 | enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially | ||||||
| 12 | with the Widows Club; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was preceded in death by her parents | ||||||
| 14 | and by her husband, Joseph; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Betty Jackson is survived by her children, Randall | ||||||
| 16 | (Kristin) Jackson, Suzanne (Joseph) Tyburski, David (Cynthia) | ||||||
| 17 | Jackson, and Karen McGee; her grandchildren, Jessica (Peter) | ||||||
| 18 | Croshaw, Amanda (Steven) Prochaska, Julianne (Paul) Kipple, | ||||||
| 19 | Sara (Jason) Noyer, Laura Tyburski, Andrew (Brandi) Jackson, | ||||||
| 20 | Anthony Jackson, Peter Jackson, and Kathleen McGee; and her 11 | ||||||
| 21 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
