2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of George B. Krug of Burr Ridge, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on October 16, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, George Krug graduated from Fenwick High School and | ||||||
6 | served in the Illinois National Guard; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, George Krug spent his career in construction, from | ||||||
8 | his start with Krug Excavating to ultimately founding K-Five | ||||||
9 | Construction, which is run by his children today; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, George Krug enjoyed golf, Palm Springs, | ||||||
11 | traveling, and spending time with his many loyal friends and | ||||||
12 | family; he will be greatly missed; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, George Krug was the beloved husband of Kay | ||||||
14 | (Tippin); the loving father of Jennifer (William) McNaughton, | ||||||
15 | Robert (Heidi), and Heart Almeida; the proud grandfather of | ||||||
16 | Jack, Nick, Grant, Andria, Kendall, William, and Jack; the fond | ||||||
17 | uncle of many nieces and nephews; the dear brother of Kitty | ||||||
18 | (John) Dearie, Jody (Jerry) Schulte, Rob (Patti), and Bill | ||||||
19 | (Marta); and an incredible friend and mentor to many; | ||||||
20 | therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | George B. Krug and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
