SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Joan Jankowsky Dubin, of Highland Park,
who passed away on July 18, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Joan Jankowsky Dubin was the beloved wife of the
late M. David Dubin; the loving mother of Jan Anne (David
Abrams) Dubin and David Henry (Jennifer Abrams) Dubin; the
adored grandma of Liam Henry Ferte-Dubin and his mother,
Chrystele Ferte; the dear sister of Joseph "Jan" (late Janice
Singer Jankowsky and the late Marcia Borg Jankowsky) Jankowsky;
cherished aunt of Peter (Terri) Dubin, Polly (Stuart Kramer)
Dubin Pollak, Jeffrey and Craig (Shari) Jankowsky; devoted
daughter of the late Elma and Joseph S. Jankowsky; dear
sister-in-law of the late Arthur Detmers Dubin and the late
Lois Amtman Dubin; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Joan Jankowsky Dubin, and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Joan Jankowsky Dubin as an
