SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Joseph C. Storto, who passed away on
August 24, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Storto was born on October 12, 1919; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Storto was a faithful and dedicated
supporter of United Cerebral Palsy Seguin of Greater Chicago
and sponsored many activities for the organization, including
the Seguin Services Golf Classic, which was renamed the Joe
Storto Memorial Golf Classic in honor of his work; and
WHEREAS, Joseph Storto was the beloved husband of Mary
Patricia (Pat) Storto; the loving father of Joseph Michael
(Susan) Storto, Rick Storto, Kathy (Tom) Downing, Sister Evie
Storto OP, Judy (Johann) Escamilla, and the late Tricia Storto;
the cherished grandfather of Amy and Jared Downing and Sarah
Storto; the dear brother of Jo (the late Frank) Mago, Louis
(Evelyn) Storto, Don (the late Claire) Storto, and the late
Marie (the late Larry) Griffin; and the fond uncle and friend
of many; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his

family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph C. Storto; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Joseph Storto as an expression of
our sympathy.
