| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James Francis Gallagher of Highland Park, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on August 6, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Gallagher was born in Highland Park; he
was | ||||||
| 6 | married to Dorothy Gallagher for 69 years; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, James Gallagher served during World War II as a | ||||||
| 8 | sergeant with the United States Air Force 71st Bombardment | ||||||
| 9 | Squadron-Wolf Pack; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, James Gallagher was a deacon in the Catholic | ||||||
| 11 | Church, Chicago Archdiocese and served in many capacities at | ||||||
| 12 | St. James Catholic Church in Highwood; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, James Gallagher is survived by
his children, Jamie | ||||||
| 14 | Gallagher, Cindy Gallagher, and Michael (Lisa) Gallagher; his | ||||||
| 15 | grandchildren, Michael and Mark (Sari) Gallagher; and his | ||||||
| 16 | great-grandchild,
Jules; therefore, be it

| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 18 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 19 | James Francis Gallagher, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 20 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
