| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Todd J. Middendorf of Carpentersville, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on July 18, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Todd Middendorf was born in Dubuque, Iowa to | ||||||
6 | Gerald J. and Barbara E. (O'Connor) Middendorf on December 21, | ||||||
7 | 1970; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Todd Middendorf began his career in fire service | ||||||
9 | in 1992 as a volunteer with the Hazel Green Fire Department in | ||||||
10 | Hazel Green, Wisconsin, where he served until 1994; he then | ||||||
11 | became a fulltime firefighter and was employed by the Village | ||||||
12 | of Carpentersville for almost 24 years, rising through the | ||||||
13 | ranks to battalion chief; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Todd Middendorf was a member of St. Margaret Mary | ||||||
15 | Catholic Church in Algonquin; he was an avid fan of the Green | ||||||
16 | Bay Packers and NASCAR; he fulfilled his dream for retirement | ||||||
17 | by purchasing a home in Tennessee; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Todd Middendorf was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | maternal and paternal grandparents; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Todd Middendorf is survived by his wife of 10 |

1 | years, Daisy Morales Middendorf; his son, Tyler; his parents; | ||||||
2 | his siblings, Troy (Brenda) and Tim (Emily) Middendorf, Tami | ||||||
3 | (Matt) DeMuth, and Tara (Eric) Budde; his mother-in-law and | ||||||
4 | father-in-law, Ramon and Caridad Morales; his sister-in-law, | ||||||
5 | Lourdes Morales; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, | ||||||
6 | including all the area fire service professionals; therefore, | ||||||
7 | be it

8 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
9 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
10 | Todd J. Middendorf, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
11 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
12 | further

13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
14 | presented to the family of Todd Middendorf as an expression of | ||||||
15 | our deepest sympathy.
