| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Norman A. Collins of Harvard, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on July 2, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Norman Collins co-founded Conlon Collins Ford in | ||||||
| 6 | Crystal Lake in 1957 and owned it through 1990; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Norman Collins enjoyed playing poker; since 1988, | ||||||
| 8 | he and his wife maintained dual residencies in Harvard and | ||||||
| 9 | Encinitas, California; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Norman Collins was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 11 | daughter-in-law, Patricia; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Norman Collins is survived by his wife of 67 | ||||||
| 13 | years, Norma; his son, Arthur (Catherine); his daughter, | ||||||
| 14 | Kimberly Kline (James); his 3 grandchildren, Maggi Blumberg | ||||||
| 15 | (Tony), Mallory Taylor (Garrett), and Tessa Kline; his 3 | ||||||
| 16 | great-grandchildren, Anthony, Rowan, and Zane; his 2 | ||||||
| 17 | sisters-in-law; his brother-in-law; and several first and | ||||||
| 18 | second generation nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

| 1 | Norman A. Collins, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 2 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
