2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Herbert Walter Rowe Jr., who passed away | ||||||
4 | on July 25, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe was born in Chicago to Herbert W. Sr. | ||||||
6 | and Alma B. (Schwebke) Rowe on October 23, 1923; he served in | ||||||
7 | the United States Army during World War II and married Shirley | ||||||
8 | Irene Morck on April 15, 1950; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe was a self-employed painter; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe was a member of Shepherd of the Hills | ||||||
11 | Lutheran Church and an avid golfer; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe was a loving husband, father, uncle, | ||||||
13 | cousin, and friend; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
15 | and his sisters, Shirley Ozog and Delores Pyzik; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Herbert Rowe is survived by his wife, Shirley; his | ||||||
17 | children, Donna A. (Scott) Anderson, Kari D. (Greg) Bartos, and | ||||||
18 | William A. (Diane) Rowe; his grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas | ||||||
19 | and Luke Bartos, Kristi B. Anderson, and Emily and Erik Rowe; |

1 | his great-grandchildren, Nolan and Olivia Simonton; his | ||||||
2 | brother-in-law, Paul (Rose) Morck; his sister-in-law, Ann | ||||||

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Herbert Walter Rowe Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
8 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
