2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Mary Ann Shinsky of North Chicago, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on June 21, 2017; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Mary Shinsky was born in Waukegan on July 26, | ||||||
6 | 1935; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Mary Shinsky worked in the Waukegan Public School | ||||||
8 | District as a teacher's assistant for 20 years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Mary Shinsky was a member of KSKJ Life American | ||||||
10 | Slovenian Catholic Union-St. Mary's Lodge #79, where she served | ||||||
11 | on the board of officers as an auditor; she was a member of | ||||||
12 | Queen of Peace Church, Most Blessed Trinity Parish; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Mary Shinsky was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
14 | Lester, and her brother, John Gerjol; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Mary Shinsky is survived by her sons, Lester (the | ||||||
16 | late Cheryl) Shinsky and Larry (Kelly) Shinsky; her daughter, | ||||||
17 | Lisa (Joel) Brockway; her grandchildren, Cynthia Shinsky, | ||||||
18 | Emily Brockway, Amanda Brockway, and Elizabeth Shinsky; her | ||||||
19 | niece, Michelle Gerjol; and her dear friends, Barbara Marolt | ||||||
20 | and the Marolt family; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Mary Ann Shinsky, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
