| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of William "Bill" Francis Collins of Crystal | ||||||
| 4 | Lake, who passed away on July 10, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, William Collins was born on May 26, 1920 in | ||||||
| 6 | Chicago; his parents were John and Margaret (nee Condon) | ||||||
| 7 | Collins; he married LaVonne Bigelow in 1952; together, they | ||||||
| 8 | raised 5 children in the Crystal Lake area since 1963; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, William Collins lived his early years on the south | ||||||
| 10 | side of Chicago, graduating from St. Rita High School; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, William Collins proudly served his country as a | ||||||
| 12 | member of the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, William Collins enjoyed books, his favorite | ||||||
| 14 | sports teams, a good Scotch, and spending time with his family | ||||||
| 15 | and friends; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, William Collins was preceded in death by his wife | ||||||
| 17 | of 32 years, LaVonne; a grandson; a sister, Margaret; and his | ||||||
| 18 | parents; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, William Collins is survived by 5 children, Pat | ||||||

| 1 | (Andy) Voloch, Dan (Maureen) Collins, Jerry (Patty) Collins, | ||||||
| 2 | Jack (Anne Marie) Collins, and Kathleen (Mike) Liautaud; 12 | ||||||
| 3 | grandchildren, Mike, Chris (Nicole), and Megan Voloch, Brian | ||||||
| 4 | (Allie) and Bridget Collins, Susan and Joanna Collins, John and | ||||||
| 5 | Angela Collins, and Kelly, David, and Julie Liautaud; and a | ||||||
| 6 | great-granddaughter, Malena Voloch; therefore, be it

| 7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 9 | family and friends, mourn the passing of William "Bill" Francis | ||||||
| 10 | Collins; and be it further
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 12 | presented to the family of William Collins as an expression of | ||||||
