| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. of Waukegan, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on May 3, 2012; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, He was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on February | ||||||
| 6 | 7, 1916; he was the son of Milton Cannon and Mary Emma Crane | ||||||
| 7 | Davenport; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, | ||||||
| 9 | Michael Frederick; his wife, Marjorie; and his siblings, Eugene | ||||||
| 10 | Cannon and Thelma Wallace; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Milton Delove Cannon, Sr. is survived by his sons, | ||||||
| 12 | Milton (Karen) D. Cannon, Jr. and Vincent (Jill) Cannon; his | ||||||
| 13 | grandchildren, Byron, Kenneth, Pajet, Piper, and Shane; his 6 | ||||||
| 14 | great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces; | ||||||
| 15 | therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | ||||||
| 18 | his family and friends, the passing of Milton Cannon, Sr.; and | ||||||
