| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
| 3 | to learn of the death of Bernard H. "Pete" Pearson Jr. of | ||||||
| 4 | Silvis, who passed away on January 8, 2022; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Bernard Pearson was born to Bernard and Zada | ||||||
| 6 | (Gottardt) Pearson in Moline on March 16, 1946; he served in | ||||||
| 7 | the U.S. Navy; he married Becky J. Miller in Galesburg on | ||||||
| 8 | October 11, 1968; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Bernard Pearson worked as a janitor and then as a | ||||||
| 10 | warehouse manager for the Moline School District, retiring | ||||||
| 11 | after 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Bernard Pearson loved golfing and spending time | ||||||
| 13 | with his family; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Bernard Pearson was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 15 | parents; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Bernard Pearson is survived by his wife; his | ||||||
| 17 | children, Richard (Jill) Pearson, Cynthia (Brian) | ||||||
| 18 | Pearson-Smith, and Lisa (Chad) Dusenberry; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 19 | Russell Pearson, Sara Pearson, Anna Smith, Samuel Smith, Jacob | ||||||
| 20 | Dusenberry, and Zada Dusenberry; his sisters, Peggy Tollenaer, | ||||||

| 1 | Patricia (Bill) Sandoval, and Becki (Greg) Boswell; and his | ||||||

| 8 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
