2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of M. Sue Scheer, who passed away on July 6, | ||||||
4 | 2015; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was born on July 9, 1948 in Alton; | ||||||
6 | her parents were Robert and Iva (nee Brown) Sims; she married | ||||||
7 | Mike Scheer on December 28, 1968 in Alton; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was a teacher at Sacred Heart in | ||||||
9 | Florissant, Missouri for the past 10 years; she previously | ||||||
10 | taught at St. Mary's School, St. Bernard's School, and the | ||||||
11 | Alton School District; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic | ||||||
13 | Church in Alton; she was also a member of the Pro-Life Group of | ||||||
14 | St. Mary's, the Society of Our Mother of Peace, the | ||||||
15 | Evangelization Group, and the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign; and

16 | WHEREAS, M. Sue Scheer is survived by her husband, Mike; 2 | ||||||
17 | daughters and their spouses, Megan and Steve Konstantopoulos | ||||||
18 | and Sarah Scheer and Tim Tipsword; 5 grandchildren, Michael | ||||||
19 | Scheer, Morgan Tipsword, Molly Tipsword, Mathew | ||||||
20 | Konstantopoulos, and James Konstantopoulos; 4 | ||||||
21 | great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Luke, Scott, and Brooklynn; a |

1 | brother and his spouse, Steven K. and Jacque Sims; and a | ||||||
2 | brother-in-law, Robert Scheer; therefore, be it

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
5 | family and friends, mourn the passing of M. Sue Scheer; and be | ||||||
6 | it further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
