| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of John Crosby Bleuer of Milan, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on July 4, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer was born on May 11, 1926 in Rock | ||||||
| 6 | Island; his parents were Harold L. and Jennie M. Crosby Bleuer; | ||||||
| 7 | he married Joy Hawks on April 15, 1951 in Milan; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer was employed as an electrician at the | ||||||
| 9 | Rock Island Arsenal for over 30 years; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer was a dedicated member of First | ||||||
| 11 | Presbyterian Church in Milan, where he served as an elder and | ||||||
| 12 | sang in the choir; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer enjoyed bowling and spending time with | ||||||
| 14 | his friends and family; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
| 16 | a daughter, Amy; a sister, Patricia Carpenter; and a brother, | ||||||
| 17 | James Bleuer; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, John Bleuer is survived by his wife, Joy; his | ||||||
| 19 | children, David, Douglas, and Keith Bleuer, Jennie and Dave | ||||||

| 1 | Fauser, Vera and Bob Rundlett, and Heather and Jim Harroun; 7 | ||||||
| 2 | grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wilma | ||||||

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of John Crosby Bleuer; | ||||||
| 8 | and be it further
